According to the market information, the stainless steel futures price in China showed a dramatic increase, with a range of 27% in the whole year, coming to CNY 17,125/ton.

Among them, the strong nickel price in the world might be one of the reasons for the strong stainless steel price trend, as the nickel price on the London Metal Exchange (LME) rebounded to US$20,000/ton.

Although the stainless steel futures price in China showed a gradual decline since mid-October, the rebound before the end of the year still led the price to increase by around CNY 3,680/ton from the beginning of 2021.
