Nippon Steel Stainless Steel Corp (NSSC), the largest stainless steel producer in Japan, announced its price adjustment of stainless steel wire rods signed from December 2021 to February 2022 with a delivery from January to March 2022.

The price of SUS304 nickel-based benchmark steel grade will be increased by 35,000 yen per ton, and that of chrome-based benchmark steel (SUS430) will be raised by 25,000 yen per ton. Both the alloy surcharge and base price were adjusted.
