Tang Eng Iron Works Co., Ltd., one of the main stainless steel manufacturers in Taiwan, announced its new prices of stainless steel products for October.

According to the price adjustment, the domestic price of 304 cold-rolled and hot-rolled stainless steel was up by NT$4,500/ton, and the surcharge of 316L was kept unchanged.

In terms of export, the base price of 304 cold-rolled and hot-rolled stainless steel was hiked by US$160-250/ton, depending on different areas.

Tang Eng said that the adjustment was to meet the recent fluctuations in international nickel prices and close to market prices.
