POSCO suspends production in Jiangsu due to China's electricity restriction measure

Affected by the latest Chinese governmental measures on power restriction, a stainless steel factory of POSCO, which is located in Jiangsu, China, has to suspend its production. This mill was estimated to restart production at the beginning of October.

In fact, under the national control of energy consumption and energy intensity, several companies in Jiangsu and Zhejiang announced the provisional suspension of production.

A senior officer explained such measures are affecting foreign enterprises, hence South Korea would like to positively deal with it, and it may also try its best to improve the situation.
