Taiwan’s export price of stainless steel wire rods in July not only hit a six-year new high but also has risen by more than NT$28,000 since this year.

The average export price of stainless steel wire rods in the first seven months of this year was around NT$11,000 higher than that in the whole year of 2020.

Due to the high international nickel prices, Taiwan’s export price of stainless steel wire rods has increased a lot so far this year. Therefore, Yieh Hsing Enterprise Co., Ltd. and Walsin Lihwa, two leading stainless steel wire rod producers in Taiwan, benefited from the price hikes, and their operation performance was expected to grow significantly accordingly.
