European stainless steel prices keep rising on tight supply

20 Jul 2021 15:03 reported by Joy Liu

A A A
The prices of cold-rolled stainless steel in the European market kept rising in the past week due to the current tight supply situation. It was understood that the present delivery period of local steel mills is very long, and the earliest availability of goods was in February next year.

The demand is quite weak now due to the off-season in the summer; however, traders expected that prices will rise again in September.
