China's stainless steel consumption has much room for development

9 Jul 2021 15:54 reported by Joy Liu

A A A
The per capita consumption of stainless steel in economic powers such as the EU, South Korea, and Japan reached 32 kilograms in 2020, while China had only 18 kilograms.

China’s crude stainless steel output only occupied 2.9% of the steel output, which showed that China had a lot of room for development.

During the 14th Five-Year period (2021-25), it was expected that China's stainless steel consumption will continue to grow further.
