EU imposes provisional AD duties on stainless steel cold-rolled flat products from India & Indonesia

The European Commission announced on April 30 that a provisional anti-dumping (AD) duty will be imposed on stainless steel cold-rolled flat products originating in India and Indonesia, which will be implemented after the full announcement in the official gazette.

According to the announcement, the proposed AD duty for India’s Jindal Stainless Limited and Jindal Stainless Hisar Limited was set at 13.4%, and that for Chromeni Steels Private Limited and all other India’s companies was at 34.6%. The rate for Indonesia's IRNC was 19.9%, and that for Jindal Stainless Indonesia and all other Indonesia's companies was 20.20%.

The provisional AD measure was scheduled to be officially announced at the end of May, and the final measures will be released at the end of October.
