According to the affirmative final determinations of countervailing duty (CVD) investigation made by the US Department of Commerce (USDOC) on December 8, 2020 on forged steel fluid end blocks, China’s exporters and producers were assigned a subsidy rate of 16.80%-19.55%, and the non-cooperative respondents were subject to a rate of 337.07%. The CVD rate for Germany was at 5.86%-14.81%; that for India was at 5.20%; that for Italy was at 3.12%-44.86%.

Besides, the US also made a final ruling of anti-dumping (AD) on these products from three countries. Germany will be subject to an AD rate of 3.82%-70.84%, Italian exporters and producers will face a rate of 0.00%-58.48%, and the dumping rate for India was set at 0.00%.

The products involved are under HTSUS subheadings 7218.91.0030, 7218.99.0030, 7224.90.0015, 7224.90.0045, 7326.19.0010, 7326.90.8688, and 8413.91.9055.

The US International Trade Commission (USITC) expected to make a final determination of AD and CVD investigations on January 21, 2021.
