Japan’s crude steel production slides in Sep y-o-y

According to data from the Japan Iron and Steel Federation (JISF), the production of crude steel in Japan totaled around 6.48 million tons in September, reducing by 19.3% compared to the same month a year ago.

In the first nine months of this year, Japan’s crude steel output amounted to approximately 61.2 million tons, dropping by 19.1% compared to the same period a year earlier.
