Due to the long-lasting and outbreak of coronavirus, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) had approved the Romanian steel mill Donalam Calarasi's application and will lend EUR 5 million working capital loan to the latter for a tenor of 2 years to aid the company's working capital needs. This capital would be used to cope with the influences caused by the Covid-19.

In May, in order to manufacture steel products with increased added-value and focus on customized orders, Donalam Calarasi invested EUR 4 million in special equipment for steel bars treatment.
