China should strengthen policy support in stainless steel industry

8 Jul 2020 16:30 reported by Joy Liu

According to a report, the stainless steel output only accounted for 2.95% of the total crude steel output. The industrial policy should increase support in the stainless steel industry.

China became the biggest producer of stainless steel in the world. However, in recent years, due to trade barriers and anti-dumping issues, both exports and imports fell off in stainless steel.

It was suggested that industrial policies should continue to increase support for the stainless steel industry, keep raising the protection of nickel ore resources, and optimize the production process.
