Yieh United Steel Corp. (Yusco), a leading stainless steel mill in Taiwan, announced its new prices for July today (June 29).

According to the price adjustment, 300 series hot-rolled and cold-rolled prices were both hiked by NT$1,000/ton, and the surcharge of 316 and base price of 430 stainless steel were kept flat.

As for the export price, it was raised by US$30/ton, depending on regions.

Yusco has hiked its stainless steel prices for three months in a row due to stable international nickel prices, despite slow recovery in the market demand.

The price adjustment was in line with market participants’ estimate.
