According to the market, the stainless steel market in China might face the 2nd rebound in these two months, due to the domestic demand rebounded strongly in April.

In the past, May and June were both off-season months, but this year might be different by most of the orders had postponed 2-3 months from February and March, by the impact by the COVID-19 epidemic.

Moreover, another point to support this theory was the strong nickel prices on the London Metal Exchange (LME) in these several weeks, plus more and more cities in the US and the EU would plan to re-open the commercial activities in May gradually, the market believed the stainless steel forecast would be optimistic in the future.
