Tang Eng Iron Works Co., one of the leading stainless steelmakers in Taiwan, announced its stainless steel price for May yesterday (April 29th).

After Yieh United Steel Corp. (Yusco) increased its prices, Tang Eng also decided to follow to hike its price for May.

According to the price adjustment, 304 stainless steel price was up by NT$2,000/ton, and the surcharge of 316 stainless steel was kept unchanged. Tang Eng didn't announce new prices for 200 and 400 series. As for the export price, the price was raised by US$60-80/ton.
