US’ rebar demand is cold now

According to the current market, there were more and more local governments in the US announced to lock-down the city to prevent coronavirus expansion.

Based on that, there were more and more business activities including infrastructure programs had been suspended, which led to the rebar’s demand getting cold.

For rebar demand in the US, the current domestic supply could almost fit over 95% of the demand, which also showed on the import statistic.

By some of the market participants’ views, the current rebar demand had not only showed cold in the US but also in the EU.
