It was reported that the US' Flack Global Metals planned to build a coil coating and downstream processing facility near Big River Steel's sheet mill in Osceola, Arkansas.

Flack Global Metals has plans to invest US$150 million in the facility, which would increase its production capability for pre-painted steels and aluminum coils.

The firm also said that the downstream facilities of slitting, blanking and embossing were also being developed. It hoped to begin construction at the facility in the summer of 2020 and testing equipment for the facility in late 2021.
