The US Commerce Department had issued a final anti-dumping ruling against imports of stainless steel rods from India after some Indian producers and exporters sold below normal amounts in the US during the period under review.

India's Jindal Stainless company weighted-average dumping margins in the end to the highest, at 52.84%, but it was still lower than the previous rate by 95.21% in April.

Venus Group and Laxcon Steels’ final dumping rate was set at 5.35%, well below the preliminary dumping rate of 77.49%.

The dumping margin for all other exporters and producers of stainless steel rods in India was 12.45%, consistent with the initial US Commerce Department decision.

The review period was from February 1st, 2017 to January 31st, 2018
