Taiwanese Yusco raises stainless steel prices for Oct

Yieh United Steel Corp. (Yusco), the largest integrated stainless steel mill in Southeast Asia, announced to raise its stainless steel prices for October today (September 26th). Under the consideration of downstream manufacturers’ competitiveness, Yusco just raised its prices slightly although the cost was high currently.

According to the price adjustment, the domestic price for 304 hot-rolled and cold-rolled stainless steel products was hiked by NT$1,500/ton, and the price for 400 series and the surcharge for 316 were both kept unchanged. Besides, Yusco also hiked its export prices by US$50/ton.
