EU's stainless steel alloy surcharges increase for Sep

The sharp increase of nickel price would be the main reason for the increasing price for the EU stainless steel alloy surcharges.

The August three-month nickel average price was US$14,995/ton in London Metal Exchange (LME).
It increased by US$2,078/ton compared to July three-month nickel average price.

According to market data, the surcharge of 304 2.0mm stainless steel cold-rolled sheet increased to EUR1,519-1,557/ton for September, up by EUR175-182/ton from August. The surcharge of 304 stainless steel bright bar increased to EUR1,889-1,934/ton, up by EUR214-238/ton from August. The surcharge of 316 2.0mm stainless steel cold-rolled sheet increased to EUR2,294-2,360/ton, up by EUR237-239/ton from August.
