According to the report, Taiwan has imposed a five-year anti-dumping duty on stainless steel cold-rolled products from China and South Korea since 2013. The Ministry of Economic Affairs determined that the Chinese and South Korean anti-dumping duties should be continued.

Due to the current overcapacity of China and South Korea, the trade dispute between the US and China has narrowed the global steel trade.

If Taiwan stopped the anti-dumping duties, China and South Korea might again dump their products into the Taiwan market by expanding the spread or low price. Under price competition, Taiwan's product profits will deteriorate.

The International Trade Commission of Taiwan said that the above-mentioned findings will be notified to the Ministry of Finance, and the ministry will submit a decision on the tariff rate review team.
