It was reported that Japanese Nippon Steel & Sumikin Stainless Steel Corporation (NSSC) previously announced that it decided to adjust its contract prices of stainless steel wire rod for March-March 2019.

Among them, the price of 400 series wire rod was lowered by 5,000 yen/ton, which was mainly due to reflect the decline in ferrochrome prices. The price of 300 series wire rod was remained unchanged.

In addition, NSSC said that it will raise its prices of wire rod in the next 3 months if nickel prices continued rising.
