Recently, the anti-dumping by China to Indonesia and other places will appear again. China's anti-dumping investigation on stainless steel products from Indonesia, South Korea and other places began in September 2018 and entered the investigation stage in November.
It was said that China will impose import limits and price limits to the stainless steel material from Indonesia and South Korea. If the restriction was begun, it will bring some impacts on stainless steel.
However, according to the import data in recent months, in fact, the imports of stainless steel from Indonesia in recent months were basically 50,000 tons per month, which were significantly lower than the previous peak period of more than 100,000 tons per month.
Therefore, even the restrictions of anti-dumping was confirmed, the import expectation was not much different from the current one.
