On January 14, 2025, the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT) of Vietnam announced its affirmative final anti-dumping (AD) ruling on prestressed steel wire rope products originating in Malaysia, Thailand, and China, deciding to impose AD duties of 9.79% to 28% on the companies involved.

The duty rate is 9.79% to 12.06% for Malaysia, 11% for Thailand, and 10.48% to 28% for China.

The products involved are classified under HS codes 7312.10.91 and 7312.10.99.

This AD measure took effect on January 15, 2025, valid for five years.
