Vietnam's Formosa Ha Tinh Steel Corporation (FHS) was confirmed to follow up on a similar move as Asia Major Steel mills for cutting production because of the weak demand during the COVID-19 epidemic.

The current molten iron output from the two blast furnaces in FHS was about annually 5 million tons, however, FHS expected to decrease 10% since the end of March.

Moreover, the finished products such as hot-rolled coil (HRC) and the rod wouldn't be affected.
