It is reported that state-owned steel producer Venezuela’s Sidor produced 14,000 tons of steel and 25,000 tons of wire in April-September, recently launched to increase steel production plan.

The company said there are six stages, has started the second phase, crude steel is expected to produce up to 100,000 tons. Production of slab flat steel, 5th and 6th blast furnaces also resumed operation.

Sidor recently launches the 2016-18 plans, expects in 2018 to produce 4 million tons of crude steel, and is expected to achieve the third-phase plan in the 3rd quarter of this year.
