According to statistics from the US Department of Commerce (USDOC), the US exported around 32,300 tons of rebar in July this year, hiking by 1.6% compared to the previous month and also rising by 37.6% from the same month a year ago.

Among them, the exports to Canada accounted for the largest proportion, totaling roughly 18,800 tons, a month-on-month decrease of 19.9% and a year-on-year hike of 23.8%. The other main export destinations included the Dominican Republic (around 3,000 tons) and Mexico (around 2,300 tons).

During the reporting period, the export value totaled around US$24 million, up by 8.5% month on month and 96.7% year on year.
