According to the final Census Bureau data from the US Department of Commerce (USDOC), the US imported around 29,000 tons of line pipe in July, decreasing by 28.4% compared to the previous month and also sliding by nearly 23% from the same month in 2020.

Among them, the imports from South Korea accounted for the largest proportion, totaling roughly 13,000 tons, a month-on-month drop of 43.1% and a year-on-year increase of 4.3%. Other import sources included Mexico (around 5,100 tons), Canada (around 2,200 tons), South Africa (around 1,900 tons), and India (around 1,800 tons).

During the period, the import value totaled roughly US$32 million, down by 22.6% month on month and 13.7% year on year.
