According to the report, the US president Donald Trump has announced on August 10th that it would levy 50% tariff on steel imports and 20% tariff on aluminum imports from Turkey, both up from 25% and 10% respectively.

The Turkish government indicated that the trade measure would seriously injure the relationship between the US and Turkey, while the measure violated the regulation of the World Trade Organization (WTO).

Due to the devaluation of the Turkish lira, Turkish president believed that would fight against the economic crisis successfully and overcome the situation with the Turkish official.
