According to the report, the United States (US) government decided to conduct investigations of high-strength aluminum, certain aluminized steels, and automobile parts related to the above steels.

Previously, ArcelorMittal filed a patent infringement complaint against Vietnam VinFast Automobile Co., Ltd., and the U.S. International Trade Commission (USITC) responded that these imported products violated Section 337 of the Tariff Act of 1930.

Companies involved in the case include VinFast Auto Ltd. of Vietnam and California, VinFast USA Distribution, LLC of Los Angeles, California, Vingroup USA, LLC of Los Angeles, California, and VinFast Trading and Production JSC, of Hai Phong.
