The US Department of Commerce (USDOC) determined that imports of tin mill products from China, Canada, and Germany were being dumped into the US market, while those products from South Korea, the Netherlands, Taiwan, Turkey, and the UK weren’t being dumped.

According to the result of the preliminary investigation, the AD duty rate of 122.52% is assigned to China, 5.29% for Canada’s ArcelorMittal Dofasco G.P. and other Canadian producers, and 7.02% for Germany’s thyssenkrupp Rasselstein GmbH and other German producers. No AD duties will be imposed on the subject goods from South Korea, the Netherlands, Taiwan, Turkey, and the UK.

The USDOC is scheduled to make its final determination for China on October 31 and to announce its final ruling for all other countries on or around January 8, 2024.
