According to the statistics, Ukraine produced 8.63 million tons of crude steel in the Q1, up by 7% year on year. At the same time, the country produced 7.7 million tons of semi-finished steel products, soared by 11.5% year on year.

Meanwhile, Ukraine’s production of pig iron totaled 7.13 million tons in the Q1, up by 2.2% y-o-y; that of coke was 4.88 million tons, increased by 6.4% y-o-y.

In addition, Ukraine produced 550.8 thousand tons of steel pipes in the Q1, soared sharply by 58% y-o-y.
