According to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), Turkey's rebar exports reached around 4.8 million tons in the first eight months of this year, growing by 39.7% compared to the same month a year ago. The export value was around US$2.9 billion, a year-on-year increase of nearly 100%.

Among them, the top three export destinations included Israel (around 697,400 tons, a year-on-year increase of 33.14%), Singapore (around 583,300 tons, a year-on-year hike of 149%), and Yemen (around 580,200 tons, a year-on-year drop of 14.3%).

In August alone, Turkey exported approximately 622,600 tons of rebar, rising by 9.4% month on month and also increasing by 88.2% year on year. The export value amounted to roughly US$433 million, up by 12.5% month on month and rising by nearly 212% year on year.
