According to statistics from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), Turkey imported around 44,000 tons of cold-rolled coils (CRC) in September, sliding by 32.4% compared to the previous month and also down by 18.8% from the same month a year ago.

In the first nine months of this year, Turkey’s CRC imports reached approximately 576,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 14.8%.

Among them, the imports from Russia accounted for the largest proportion, totaling around 354,000 tons, a year-on-year hike of 38.83%, followed by Belgium’s 61,500 tons and South Korea’s 41,700 tons.
