Japanese Tokyo Steel announced to cut the scrap purchase prices by ￥500~￥1,000/ton averagely at its five firms from October 4th.

After the adjustment, the latest purchase prices of the H2 scrap are at ￥33,500~￥36,500/ton averagely.

Among them, the H2 scrap purchase prices in Okayama plant are at ￥35,500/ton; that in Kyushu plant is at ￥36,500/ton; that in Tahara plant is at ￥34,500/ton; that in Takamatsu plant is at ￥33,500/ton and that in Utsunomiya plant is at ￥36,000/ton.
