Titan Metal Service Inc announced plans to build a new steel center. The 50, 000 square foot facility will be set up on property leased from the Port of Tampa. The final decision on the construction of the $5.5 million plant is still pending on approval of the 20 year lease with four 5 year extension options by the Tampa Port Authority. The facility is expected to employ around 12 to 15 people initially and this could later be increased to up to 30 workers. (Mar. 9)
