Taiwanese Tang Eng has announced to raise their 304 stainless steel hot rolled and cold rolled price by NT$10,000/mt (US$300/mt) for domestic market.

Meanwhile, the company also increased by US$300-400/mt for 300 series for May export shipment.

This price rise is mainly to reflect rising price on nickel raw material.

Japanese JFE Steel has also increased its domestic price for ￥20,000/mt (US$167) for grade 304 steel due to strong demand and tight supply in the market.
