It is reported that Taiwan’s fasteners (screws and bolts) exports accounted for 54% of the total exports. Even though the exports declined slightly in March, but the export quantity and average price all increased for the first quarter of this year.

The dealers said the position is hard to compete because standard screws faced the low prices competition from China.

It is understood that Taiwan’s screws and bolts exports volume and average price all decreased last year; but the exports and average price has improved this year.

Due to EU to cancel anti-dumping duty form China from last February. Taiwan’s screws and bolts export is expected to improve this year.
