Taiwan’s CSC postpones Aug pricing due to tariff uncertainty

China Steel Corporation (CSC), Taiwan’s leading carbon steel producer, has postponed the announcement of its August domestic prices, originally scheduled for today (July 15). The delay is due to ongoing uncertainty regarding the scope of reciprocal tariffs to be imposed by the US on Taiwanese steel products.

CSC aims to set prices that accurately reflect international market fluctuations and maintain its customers' competitiveness. After internal discussions, the company decided to release its August pricing this Thursday (July 17).
