Alformer Industrial Co., Ltd., a Taiwanese company engaged in aluminum extrusion production, has decided to invest NT$700 million to build a factory in Beidou, Changhua, planning to set up an aluminum formwork logistics renovation and storage equipment facility.

The factory was expected to be completed and put into production within one year, improving operation performance and moving towards a revenue target of NT$3 billion.

Benefiting from the surge in orders for semiconductor factory expansion and wafer transportation overhead cranes, as well as the active development of the construction aluminum formwork business, the company's fourth-quarter operations were expected to grow.

Alformer's net profit after tax in the first three quarters of this year was around NT$25.5 million, a year-on-year surge of 49%. The consolidated revenue in October was NT$146 million, a month-on-month hike of 59% and a year-on-year growth of 4.1%. The cumulative consolidated revenue for the first ten months amounted to roughly NT$1.2 billion, down by 13.7% year on year.
