Recently, South Korea SeAH Besteel purchased a batch of H1 scrap from Cargill Inc. with the prices of US$469/ton C&F, surged by US$23/ton from South Korea’s previous purchase prices of deep sea scrap.

Also, the prices are US$40/ton higher than the country’s import prices of Japanese H2 scrap of US$429/ton FOB.

Meanwhile, it’s said that the prices of deep sea scrap in Southeast Asia are at US$470/ton C&F in the middle of December.
