South Korean scrap exports totaled around 18,000 million tons in July, down by 60.3% year on year and down by 11.2% month on month. The sluggish situation was kept for 14 weeks.

In the first 7 months of 2019, South Korea exported around 160,000 tons of scrap, down by 43.1% year on year, with the average monthly exports of 20,000 million tons and the expected annual exports of 270,000 million tons.

Among them, most of scrap was exported to India, totaling around 63,000 tons, increasing by 20.1% year on year and accounting for 21% of the total.
