With the price of nickel continuing to rise, many stainless steel mills have increased their prices. Most of South Korea’s tube mills, such as Seah Steel Corporation and MIJU Steel also announced that they will be raising their prices. The price increase for November shipment will be around 200, 000 won/ton or US$210. It is expected that most other tube mills in South Korea will also follow the move by raising their prices.
