On February 20, 2025, South Korea’s Trade Commission announced the final ruling of the first sunset review of anti-dumping (AD) measures on flat-rolled products of stainless steel originating in China, Indonesia, and Taiwan, and suggesting to continue AD duties for another five years.

The duty rates for China, Indonesia, and Taiwan are 24.83%, 25.82%, and 9.07%, respectively. However, price commitments are reached for some companies, including China’s Shanxi Taigang Stainless Steel Co., Ltd. and its affiliates and Angang Lianzhong Stainless Steel Corporation, PT Indonesia Tsingshan Stainless Steel and its affiliates, and Yieh United Steel Corporation and its affiliates and Walsin Lihwa Corporation.
