The global scrap prices were averagely going up in last week. Especially in Asian market, Japan's Tokyo Steel announced to increase the price of scrap again. The price of HMS2 will be increased by ￥500 to 1000/mt. Similarly goes this upward trend in the European market. In November, the export price of Russian A3 steel scrap increased approximately US$5/MT, and the domestic sales from strong demand had covered the less export to Turkey. The bundle scrap price increased by US$1.5/MT in America. Cureently the high grade steel scrap, wrought iron materials and chopped scrap are in shortage in American market. In Asia, Tokyo Steel announced to increase the export scrap price and this is the 5th times since last month. Now the export price of HMS1 mixed HMS (50:50) has increased to ￥31, 000/MT, FOB. However, buyers complained that it is too high to accept.
