According to the rating of magazine Metal Supply and Sales, Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works (MMK) was named as the top leading producers of flat, galvanized and coated steels among Russian producers in the latter half of 2019.

MMK was the leader producers of hot-rolled and cold-rolled products, and its production output was said to have one-third of cold-rolled products in the Russian ferrous metals sector.

As for the galvanized and coated steels, MMK was making a major effort to develop this field to retain the first place in the sections.

Moreover, two more companies of MMK were also listed in the rating of the magazine for the same period, Magnitogorsk Metalware and Calibration Plant MMK-Metiz, the top three producers of metalware, and MMK Trading House, the top two best trading company of steel mills.
