In step with the fast development of 200 series stainless steel in the South Korean market, Posco successfully trial produced 200 series stainless steel (NI 4%) this year.

However Posco decided not produce it anymore because that some traders often take its 200 series stainless steel to sell to their customers as 300 series; as a result, quality problems occurred sometime.

As Posco stops producing the 200 series, South Korea now imports a greater quantity of 200 series, mainly NI1% and NI 4%.
