It is reported that the government of Alabama and related department has approved Korean Posco to build a steel plant in Alabama.

The plant will offer more than 60 jobs and it is expected to start building in the end of next year. The main products will be supplied to automakers.

Besides, Posco plans to do the equipment maintenance for 3CAL from March 1st to the end of April. This movement aims at enhancing productivity and the annual capacity will be 600,000 tons which main products are cold rolled steel, stainless steel and electric steel.
