According to data released by Paraguay’s central bank, the country’s imports of three most demanded steel flat products including hot rolled coils, cold rolled coils and zincalume sheets amounted to 13,274 tons in March, jumping from 4,420 tons in the same month of a year ago and soaring by 36.3% from the previous month.

In March, the imports of zincalume sheets totaled 5,906 tons, including 4,220 tons from Mexico.

Meanwhile, the imports of hot rolled coils and cold rolled coils totaled 3,923 tons and 3,445 tons respectively in March.
