Novelis Inc., a Georgia-based industrial aluminum company, announced its new sustainability plan, Novelis 3x30, to advance aluminum as the material of choice for circular solutions. The initiative will meet the company's purpose of Shaping a Sustainable World Together.

Novelis aims to set ambitious, carbon-related sustainability goals and set priorities to accelerate the company’s decarbonization and circularity works.

The company said the 3x30 vision will help customers achieve sustainable development goals faster by focusing on three objectives to reach by the end of 2030, including pushing the boundaries of recycled content in products by raising the average recycled content to 75% from the current 63%, becoming the lowest emitting aluminum supplier of flat rolled products, and continuing first-mover investments.
